Visitors to Wortley, whether passing or booked in advance, in groups or alone, will find a warm welcome and accommodation to suit. It has over 500 years of history, yet can offer the many modern facilities demanded by a discerning clientele. There are two dining rooms catering for either 100 or 44 people to dine in rooms of beauty and elegance. The dining rooms include original wood panelling; magnificent fireplaces and the ceilings are arguably the finest examples of Renaissance style friezes in Great Britain. The bar itself is spacious and has ‘pub prices’ rather than ‘Hotel prices’ bar meals are available at all times. Adjacent to the bar area is a function room with a fully sprung floor and a games room with snooker, pool and darts facilities. There are also a range of lounges and television rooms incorporating an extensive library.
