Moorcock Inn enjoys an enviable reputation for good food and luxury. In the past the Hotel boasted clientele such as the late George Formby and has even entertained Royal visitors. Now restored to its former splendour by the present proud owners, it still manages to retain a warm and friendly atmosphere with its gleaming copper, fresh flowers and oak beams. You can be assured of that special welcome at this family run beautiful old inn. Only a short ride is the historic market town of Clitheroe, with its famous castle. The whole area is steeped in history with Stonyhurst College, Browsholme Hall and Whalley Abbey nearby. The Lake District and Manchester, with its theatres and shops are only an hour`s drive and Skipton, Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales are all within easy reach.
