Windsor Lodge is a small hotel that is undeniably individual. The building is about 200 years old, grade II listed and the only two star hotel in the city centre. Although so centrally located the building has an air of peace and tranquillity, an echo of the days when it was a house in the country. Restaurant open to non-residents.
Ron and Pam Rumble are both fond and proud of the reputation Windsor Lodge has as it enters its 36th year as a hotel. The hotel was honoured when ex US President Jimmy Carter and Mrs Carter had lunch at Windsor Lodge during his one day visit to the UK Year of Literature and Writing.
