There has been a settlement called Escrick since Viking times, evolving into today`s pretty village. FC Penrose was commissioned to build the `new` Escrick Parsonage in 1848, having already masterminded the new stone church in the village, which was consecrated in 1857.
There are 46 tastefully decorated bedrooms, many of which have recently been refurbished. Each one has a private bathroom, satellite television and a host of modern touches to make your stay a restful one. Choose from bedrooms in the main house, the coach house or the old cottage next door. We are also delighted to offer the Lodge, opened June 2002.
The Parsonage has worked hard at building a solid reputation for excellent cooking. It is therefore fitting that Lascelles Restaurant has been awarded one prestigious AA Rosette.
