Built in 1896 for prosperous Salisbury merchants, Grasmere is constructed in deep, red brick with attractive pointed finials on the roof gables. The conservatory restaurant, with spectacular views over Grasmere`s gardens and lawns, down to the rivers Nadder and Avon and across to the Cathedral, has seating for 40 diners. The menu features a variety of dishes using local produce and changes frequently to reflect the seasons.
