The Angel was first licensed in 1420 and is now a family owned and run inn at the heart of England`s finest medieval town. Eight comfortable en-suite bedrooms combine with a warm and friendly atmosphere for a pleasant and memorable stay. Noted for good food, the menu changes daily and is based around fresh local ingredients. There are four local real ales on tap as well as a good value wine list. An ideal base for a short break to visit Constable Country, Suffolk`s wool towns and villages and the heritage coast. Special terms for weekend and mid-week breaks.
The hotel is a non-smoking establishment.
Special weekend with a celebrity concert from Julian Lloyd Webber in Lavenham Church on Friday March 5th.
