The Leicester Arms was sold by the De L`isle and Dudley family in 1921 and is now privately owned. Situated in the beautiful village of Penshurst, the inn is generally considered to be one of the most picturesque in Kent. The restaurant at the rear of the building, commands a view of rising meadow lands, through which flows the river Medway. There is a large secluded garden with lawns and flowerbeds. An A-La-Carte menu with daily specials is available for lunch and dinner, a bar menu for lighter snacks is available all day. The hotel has seven bedrooms, each with private bathroom, television, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. The Leicester Arms is ideally situated for visiting a number of National Trust and historic properties, including Hever Castle, Knole Park, Chartwell, Chiddingstone Castle and many others. It is only a short walk to Penshurst Place and a visit to the splendid gardens and house should not be missed. PLEASE NOTE -; Prices are from £60 to £130
