Whether you`re fishing for a hotel or looking for a hotel that`s got some of the best fishing in the U.K - you`ve come to the right place. You`re also spot on if its amazing gardens you are after. And when it comes to activities, it would make even the most hyperactive amongst us blanch. Gliffaes is difficult to describe, atmospheres generally are, however, we can give you a few pointers. We are the third generation of the same family to run Gliffaes and we believe in friendly service, individuality not conformity, comfort, great food and wine and a relaxed atmosphere.

All 22 of our bedrooms are individually decorated and have private bathrooms. Our sitting rooms have open log fires in the winter and you can sit in our conservatory and look out over the hills or down onto the River Usk below. The sounds of hooting owls at night and the rush of the river Usk below us are difficult to get across but there are plenty of beautiful pictures on our website to whet your appetite.....
