The Castle of Brecon Hotel is steeped in history and adjoins the castle remains. Overlooking the Brecon Beacons and River Usk, the view from the hotel is spectacular.

The hotel has 40 ensuite rooms (some shower ensuite only). There are 12 budget rooms in the castle annexe adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel is family run and was taken over in July 2001 by Mr A Thomas. Over the next 5 years there will be constant refurbishment of the hotel although disruption is minimal.

Meeting facilities are available. The Ballroom faces south and overlooks the river and mountains. The double doors open on to the garden. A sprung wooden floor makes it ideal for dances also. Seated, the Ballroom can easily take 120 for functions and dinners.

The Snooker room is ideal for smaller meetings and also has a civil wedding licence as well as the Ballroom & Ballroom Bar. There is a vaulted wooden celing with plenty of natural daylight.

There are 2 menus currently in operation. The bar menu wich is served in the bar all day and an A La Carte which is served in the restaurant in the evenings.
