The White Hotel is a Georgian fronted building set in the heart of Hertingfordbury village. The White Horse hotel offers a combination of elegant surrounding, attractive menus, fine wine and friendly service. The Georgian Facade of the White Horse actually belies a much older interior with oak beams dating back from 400 years. Many of the spacious bedrooms overlook the hotel gardens where lunch, drinks and a truly english tea are served in the summer. In the grounds of nearby Hatfield house in the Old Palace, where Elizabeth I spent her childhood and learnt of her accession to the throne. The Old Palace is today the setting for regular Elizabethan banquets, providing insights into the lifestyle of the rich and famous centuries ago. Nearest Airport:Heathrow Restaurant
