A family run country pub set at the foot the North Yorkshire Moors, The Fox and Hounds (Slapewath) is an extremely popular venue for lunches, dinners, accommodation or just simply a good pint of traditional real ale. The proud owners of The Fox and Hounds are John and Eunice Firbank. A return to traditional values has made the Fox and Hounds a much sort after venue. A stones throw from the Cleveland Way - The Fox and Hounds is very popular with walkers. We`re only a couple of miles from the market town of Guisborough and less than fifteen minutes drive from Wilton Industrial Estate. Special dietry requirements can be catered for with prior notice. We also cater for functions: weddings, funerals, christernings and others.
