This is a family run hotel in the heart of the scenic Cambrian mountains of central Wales. Dyffryn Castell is a family run hotel in the heart of the scenic Cambrian Mountains of Wales. The hotel is situated on the route of the Cambrian Way Long Distance Footpath and at the foot of the slopes of Plynlimon. The hotel is over 400 years old and was originally a coaching inn. Today modern facilities have been tastefully combined with its traditional character to offer both comfort and atmosphere. Families are welcome, with reduced rates for children. The cosy bar offers a warm and homely welcome with a log fire. We pride ourselves on our reputation for good traditional home-cooked food, whether your preference is for a snack or a full meal complemented with fine wine from our cellars. Our menu is extensive and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

We offer facilities for weddings, private functions and coach parties (prior notice appreciated). Ample car parking space is available.
