The Boxmoor Lodge Hotel has been in the family for three generations. Originally built as the gatehouse to Boxmoor House, the lodge dates back to the early 17th Century. It was built by order of Lady Alicia Blackwood as a wedding gift to her nephew Henry Bowen on his marriage to Miss Charlotte Bethnell in 1685. Extended to include additional accommodation and a conference centre, the Boxmoor Lodge Hotel has retained its original character whilst offering first class service and facilities. For a memorable stay in historic surroundings, come to the Boxmoor Lodge. You`ll find an unbeatable blend of traditional English hospitality and attractively furnished accommodation. The Boxmoor Lodge Hotel owes its reputation in part to the award winning Conservatory Restaurant. The restaurant has been designed in elegant surroundings, and overlooks the hotel gardens. The candlelit atmosphere provides the perfect setting for fine dining. |
