The Thorpe Lodge Hotel has become a relaxing, well-appointed sanctuary for business travellers, visitors from overseas and from the U.K. The building dates back to around 1890 and is situated near to the station and within a few minutes of leisure and shopping amenities. All 18 rooms are comfortably furnished and are en-suite with irons and ironing boards available from reception. For our business guests, we have 2 conference rooms with facilities for up to 40 delegates and with a range of visual aids. Easy access to the A1, and the mainline railway station, mean that guests are ideally placed for business or pleasure. The international airports of Stansted (60 minutes) and Luton (60 minutes) are nearby, whilst the new A14 dual carriageway, links both the M1 and east coast ferry ports. So whether your stay is for business or pleasure a warm welcome awaits you.
