Your holiday begins as soon as you step off the launch onto the hotel quay, where you will be welcomed by General Manager, Keith Bradford and escorted the fifty or so yards to the hotel. Arriving on a hot, sunny day, most guests are amazed at the white sandy beaches and clear blue water, often describing their first impression of Scilly as `the Caribbean without the hassle`.

Unlike most hotels, because of our remote location we know exactly when you will be arriving and as such you will be met and greeted by name at the door (perhaps with the exception of your children, who will be drawn like a magnet to the beach in front of the hotel before you have even checked in).
