A classic Georgian House built in 1830 by the Duke of Wellington, just over 1 mile from the city centre, with private parking. Apsley House is owned and run by Claire and Nicholas Potts and guests are offered a warm welcome and personal service. The interior includes many period features and the hotel has been refurbished in great style to retain the splendour and charm of bygone years. The drawing room with open fire, grand piano and beautiful arched windows looks out over the pretty garden. The bedrooms, all en-suite, are individually decorated in Traditional English County House Style with sumptuous furnishings and fine drapery. The hotel is licensed.
