Few and far between are opportunities to experience something very special. If you appreciate an informal yet refined hospitality combined with a beautifully understated elegance, then you`ll find The Cornwallis very special indeed.

Built in 1561, a wonderful retreat in which to enjoy food and drink of exceptional quality and superbly appointed accommodation.

Each of the 16 en-suite bedrooms at the Hotel are individually furnished with some fine antique pieces to complement the historic ambience.

Super grounds, some of the finest Yew topiary in the country, great for wedding ceremonies and receptions. In addition, we have the Garden room, perfect for business meetings and lunches.
