Awarded the AA `Top Hotel Award` 2006

A converted eighteenth century water mill situated on the banks of the River Teign. The traditional English gardens flow down to the edge of the river and are an ideal spot for an afternoon cream tea. The relaxed country house atmosphere is enhanced by the slowly turning water wheel, the log fires and views over the river with Castle Drogo beyond. Ideal for walking, fishing or just relaxing.

The Restaurant has a wonderful combination of award-winning food and a great atmosphere. Barney Mason, Master Chef of Great Britain, leads the kitchen team with 2 Red Rosettes and several other awards under his belt for his Modern British Cuisine. Complemented by an extensive wine list and award-winning Westcountry Cheese Board. Ratings/Awards:AA 3 Star
