The Langdale Chase Hotel, Cumbria Hotel of the Year 2001, is a beautiful country house dating back to 1890. With stained glass windows, oak panelling and a 300 year old oak fireplace the main hotel is the perfect setting for morning coffee. The restaurant has breathtaking views of Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes. All the bedrooms are individually and tastefully furnished, many with Lake Views. The Lakeland stone bungalow provides further accommodation with private parking for convenience. The bungalow rooms open onto a wide terrace overlooking the gardens and lake. The grounds slope gently to the lake and are beautiful at any time of year.
