Kinloch dates back to the early 1600s and is very much the home of Lord and Lady Macdonald. Two comfortable drawing rooms, with log fires, enjoy the most spectacular views. As Kinloch was not built as a hotel the bedrooms vary in size and this is reflected in our tariff.
The decor throughout is the choice of Lady Macdonald as is the food in the dining room. Claire Macdonald is one of the greatest cooks and food enthusiasts in Scotland - an award-winning journalist and author of twelve best-selling cookbooks. Claire has for the last twenty years produced, with a small team, the most delicious food, seasonal to Scotland. She makes the widest use of the superb ingredients which abound in Scotland - be it meat, fish, game or fruit.
