With parts dating back to the Tudor (including resident hotel ghost), Elizabethan and Georgian periods, this welcoming country hotel overlooks Helmsley`s market place providing a warmth of character and atmosphere. A great base for visits to Rievaulx Abbey, Castle Howard and the North York Moors. Its excellent restaurant adds to the appeal.
