Situated on the site of the Battle of Bannockburn next to the Bannockburn Heritage Centre, on the outskirts of the historic city of Stirling, the King Robert is a friendly and excellent value family hotel. For those travelling by car we are easily accessible by motorway, just 2 minutes from junction 9 of the M9/M80.

Our 52 en-suite bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are equipped with all the necessary modern amenities; ask for a room with a DVD player (at no extra cost) if you have kids - of any age - who need constant entertainment and wish to bring their own DVD`s! We also have a honeymoon suite and deluxe rooms with spa baths.

There is a selection of menus in our 2 restaurants with a bar menu also available from 12 noon to 9pm in the King Robert lounge Bar, and all room rates include Full Scottish Breakfast.

The hotel is an ideal base for a gentle stroll through the trees behind the mighty statue of King Robert The Bruce, taking in panoramic views of the castle and beyond...

Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are of course unmissable, but also worth sampling is the thriving Arts and clubbing scene in what is Scotland`s newest city, with bars and pubs of every description.

And slightly further afield from the King Robert? How about the shops and bustle of Glasgow? The grandeur of Edinburgh? The rugged hills and sparkling lochs of the glorious Trossachs? Countless golf courses? White water rafting? The Falkirk Wheel? Loch Lomond itself?

They are all on our doorstep, and at your mercy!
