The Highlander stands majestically on the Esplanade on Scarborough`s prestigious South Cliff where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the picturesque South Bay, harbour and historic castle. The Hotel is situated a short distance from the Spa entertainments and the conference complex and is only a short walk away from the town centre with it`s many attractive shops. The Highlander, formerly known as Hotel Stresa, has been tastefully modernised throughout to provide a very high standard of accommodation and comfort. All rooms are en suite and are centrally heated, with tea and coffee making facilities and remote controlled colour televisions. Breakfast is served in our superb sea-view dining room, The Heathers.
