Arkell`s new flagship pub, The Tawny Owl at Taw Hill, North Swindon spread its wings to welcome new customers for the first time on 23 November 2003. Sitting proudly at the heart of the new community, the £2 million pound establishment - Arkell`s 103rd - has two bars and extensive restaurant facilities. Amenities also include five superbly appointed letting rooms, a family/disabled room and a conference room (called The Parliament Room, following through the theme of Owls!). Arkells have also added a number of new external features designed for the added enjoyment of customers including an amphitheatre outside, a waterwheel and a stream.
