Bishops Court Hotel is located in the Warberries, a quiet residential area of Torquay, and enjoys a south-facing aspect with magnificent views over Torbay, the town centre, the harbour and the area`s many attractions are all within easy reach of the Hotel. The driveway to the modern Reception area winds gently up from Lower Warberry Road, affording visitors a fine view of the imposing original villa, which was built in 1844 and is a listed building - one of the most admired examples of Victorian architecture in Torbay. Around the mansion, we have built a Garden Hotel, Apartments and a range of leisure facilities and these have been carefully designed to complement the original building. Hotel accommodation is available in two locations; the original villa, which forms the `Mansion House Hotel`, and the modern, complementary building known as the `Garden Hotel`. Full length indoor Bowling Green (2 lanes) available. |
