The Melbreak Hotel is a family run motel style country house hotel set in 3 acres of idyllic grounds on the western edge of the Lake District. The Hotel boasts dramatic panoramic views across this constantly changing landscape to the Loweswater valley and mountains beyond, including the imposing Melbreak, from which the Hotel takes its name, and to the rugged coastline of the Solway Firth. Nearby is Workington and the Cumbrian Coast. This is a handy location for both business visitors and holidaymakers, being close to the A66, the main route through the North Lakes. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all our guests, giving them a taste of the traditional hospitality they will experience throughout their stay.
