Craigsanquhar is a stunning mansion house 4 miles from the town of Cupar and 6 miles from St Andrews, the world famous home of golf.

The house which is south facing, sits in a beautiful rolling countryside with spectacular views over formal terraces and the hills beyond.

There are 13 comfortable, individually decorated bedrooms which include the Spence Suite and also a scrumptous Bridal Suite. All rooms are en-suite and most have queen or king size beds. The rooms are well appointed with quality fabrics and fine furnishings. Tea trays are provided as well as a lovely range of toiletries for your use. Fluffy bathrobes are also supplied.

The public rooms on the ground floor are bright and spacious and furnished with big comfy sofas and armchairs which surround our open log fires.

There is a cosy cocktail bar where guests can relax with pre dinner or after dinner drinks, selecting from a broad range of spirits including a great variety of fine malts. Our restaurant overlooks the top terrace, the sundial on the lawn and the paddock below where you can watch the horses grazing peacefully.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. Our award winning restaurant menus change on a regular basis. Our chefs endeavour to use the best of local produce to create enticing dishes in the Modern Scottish style with prime beef, lamb, game and seafood appearing frequently on our menus. A range of individually selected wines is also available to compliment your meal.

The house is set in 36 acres of woodland and is a haven for wildlife such as roe deer, badgers, squirrels and rabbits as well as a variety of birds. There are a number of little pathways, a water feature and a walled garden all within the grounds where guests can stroll or relax on one of the many benches overlooking the splendid views. In all it is a perfect setting for a relaxing meal out or for a get away from it all break.

We hope to be able to welcome you to Craigsanquhar sometime soon when you can experience excellent hospitality and take time to appreciate its many charms.
