Warmly welcoming, this award winning retreat stands serenely in 50 acres of parkland including a large trout lake, a haven for fascinating wildlife. One may enjoy a mouth watering, traditional Welsh afternoon tea in front of log fires in the lounge or in the garden in summer. Dining by candlelight in the restaurant is a memorable experience; the cuisine has been winning prestigious awards for its excellence.

There is tennis, croquet, clay pigeon shooting and a nine hole golf course within the grounds. The hotel`s billiard`s room is a popular evening venue. There are four 18 hole courses in the vicinity and pony trekking can be arranged.
