15th century moated manor house that has been tastefully restored and extended to incorporate a four star 32 bedroom hotel. A choice of bedrooms is available including four luxury suites and four family rooms. All of the bedrooms are individually appointed, and have been built with the business traveller in mind with direct dial telephone, modem links and additional workspace as standard, most rooms are non-smoking and have air conditioning.

A choice of eight meeting rooms is available, from the spacious canalside 200 seater Acton Suite, to the medieval ambience of the 15th century oak-beamed Colin Lewis Suite.

The Moat House prides itself for its fine food and fine wine. The canalside restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes and for the last two year has been awarded `Best Restaurant in Staffordshire` by the AA.
